Katie Collette is a respected L’Oréal Professionnel artist and trainer known for her well-rounded aptitudes. Between her in-depth brand knowledge, her creative hair coloring concepts, and her inviting teaching approach Katie creates a balanced and dynamic learning environment for all.
Katie is a nationally certified L’Oréal Professionnel balayage artist. She has worked alongside many renowned national artists and celebrity stylists such as James Moorison, Jo Blackwell-Preston, and Nancy Braun. Katie has been instrumental in VIP events, in-salon classes, and salon color conversions.
Katie’s passion for hair color is undeniable. Her creative color work was featured in 2017 L’Oréal Professionnel’s DIA inspiration book. As a colorist, she balances and respects the importance of foundational work along with her creative and nontraditional approach to color placement, formulation, and techniques. She embodies both components behind the chair and in her teaching methods.
As part of L’Oréal Professionnel’s exclusive expert network team, Katie is frequently requested as a trainer to facilitate multiple national expert network programs. She is recognized as one of the select few trainers able to facilitate the entire expert network series; including color, finishing, cutting, and business development.
Katie’s dedication to personal and professional development earned her a spot in L’Oréal’s Elite Professional Products Division Train the Trainer in NYC, providing her exposure working with other artist teams within the professional product division. i.e., Baxter, Mizani, Matrix, and Kerastase.
