What is Shop with a Stylist?

When you connect with a stylist, you receive 10% off your $60+ Hair.com orders as long as you’re connected to them.  Then your stylist automatically receives a commission from your order. The mantra of Hair.com by L'Oreal has always been, "We've got you covered between salon visits." Now, more than ever before, the Hair.com team wants the amazing industry pros that are the backbone of everything we do, to know that we've got them covered, too.  We’ve partnered with some of our top stylists to bring you their insider knowledge and help you take your hair to the next level.

How do I join Shop With a Stylist?

It’s easy! 

  1. Head to the Stylist Search Page by clicking here or clicking on the Words “Connect with a Local Stylist” in the black bar at the top of the page.
  2. If you have a stylist, you can search for them by name.  If you’re looking for a new stylist, you can enter your zip code and see stylists near you.
  3. Click on the stylists name to view their profile.
  4. Once you find a stylist you like, click on the Connect With Me button.
  5. You’re done!  Feel free to start shopping! 

 

How do I know if I’m connected to a stylist?

    • If you are connected to a stylist, there will be a black bar at the top of the page with your stylist’s name. Stylists can also reach out on the contact us page, there is a drop down for the shop with a stylist.

    • If you’re not connected to a stylist, the black bar will say “Connect with a Local Stylist”

I was connected to a stylist and now I’m not.  How do I re-connect?

    • If you have a Hair.com account, try logging into your account
    • If you don’t have a Hair.com account or logging in did not work, you’ll need to search for your stylist again and choose the Connect With Me button

I tried searching and I can’t find my stylist / My stylist doesn’t show up when I search

    • We’re sorry!  Currently, our Shop with a Stylist team is by invite-only.  Stay tuned as we’re constantly adding more stylists.

There aren’t any results for stylists in my area

I already have a stylist I love.  Can I recommend them for this program?

    • We’re sorry!  Right now our Shop with a Stylist team is by invite-only.  Stay tuned as we’re constantly adding more stylists.

How can I contact and/or book an appointment with my stylist.

    • Please reach out to your stylist via the contact information shared on their profile page.  Click on their name in the black bar that appears at the top of the page to reach their profile.

I am connected to a stylist.  Will my stylist contact me?

    • If you make a purchase while connected to a stylist, you’ll be given the option to share your information with that stylist and that stylist may contact you.  Sharing your information is completely optional.

How can I change the stylist I chose?

    • Click on the black bar with your stylist’s name to go to their profile
    • Click on the text that says “Disconnect” underneath the button
    • You are now disconnected.  If you want to enjoy Shop with a Stylist benefits, you’ll need to either re-connect to your previous stylist or search for a new one and connect

I want to leave the program

    • Click on the black bar with your stylist’s name to go to their profile
    • Click on the text that says “Disconnect” underneath the button
    • Please note, you will lose any associated Shop with a Stylist benefits once this action is complete

I am a stylist.  How do I join this program?

    • Thanks for your interest!  Currently, Shop with a Stylist is by invite-only, but please ACTION HERE for more information on joining the program as a stylist.

Shop with a Stylist Offer Terms and Conditions

10% off your $60+ Hair.com order when you are connected to a stylist.  No code required, but customer must be connected to a stylist at the time of checkout.  Valid only at www.hair.com on items in stock. Not valid on previous purchases, in salon, or anywhere else Hair.com products are sold. Offer may be combined with other promotions, see specific promotion terms and conditions for compatibility.  Discount will be reflected in the shopping cart.

What is Shop With a Stylist?

    • Shop With a Stylist allows customers registered with Hair.com to shop with you as their stylist! As a stylist, you will be able to create a commission account and bio where you will have information about yourself with merchandised products that you can promote customers to purchase on Hair.com. Customers will be able to search a list of stylists that have these merchandised pages on Hair.com and select which stylist they would like to shop with. When customers select you as their stylist that they want to shop with and purchase from you will earn a commission on that sale made from them shopping with you. You will also have a unique URL that you can share with clients.

Why should I join Shop With a Stylist?

    • Exclusively on hair.com, Shop With a Stylist equips stylists with an online page to boost their retail sales, grow their client list – while earning a commission on PPD products, and ability to earn incremental bonuses upon reaching milestones. As a stylist, you will receive training, tips and tools on how to upsell and build your E-Shop on Hair.com. This is where you will be able to earn commission & rewards for clients converted on your E-shop.

How do I join Shop With a Stylist?

    • How can I be notified when additional applications open for Shop with a Stylist?
      1. You will be notified by our commission affiliate to signup on their platform. Once you have created and registered your account you will receive a notification to create your bio on Hair.com

How do I receive my earned commission?

      • Please login to your account on our commission page: https://ascend.pepperjam.com/
      • Once you have created your account on Pepperjam, they will send a Welcome email with details of your onboarding
      • Your payout must reach a minimum of $25
      • Stylists are paid twice a month, on or around the 1st and 15th of each month once the invoice is satisfied
      • There is a 30 day locking period on the Pepperjam network to account for potential cancellations or returns
      • Once each order hits 30 days of age, the order will lock and be processed for payment
      • For all inquiries, whether at signup or after you’ve been accepted, please direct your questions to for support [email protected]

How do I edit my picture / name / contact information / salon information / other information?

    • Please Contact Us here and Select Shop with a Stylist from the dropdown

Can I add my current loyal clients to the program?

    • Yes, you can! Please tell them to create an account on Hair.com and connect with you as a stylist on your page and have them purchase through you

How do I tell clients about the program?

    • Once you sign up we will provide you a digital tool pack for promoting your e-platform

How do I remove myself from the program?

    • Please Contact Us here and select Shop with a Stylist from the dropdown
