The Best Long Wavy Hairstyles To Try
Long Wavy Hair with Bangs
Don’t want to part ways with your long locks? You don’t have to with this long wavy hairstyle with bangs. When cut carefully by a professional stylist, bangs can help frame your face and put your best features on display. It’s a great way to switch up your look without losing the length you worked hard to achieve.
For added volume, part your hair as desired and mist a dry shampoo like L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Fresh Dust Dry Shampoo directly onto the roots of your bangs before sweeping them to the side of your forehead.
Beach waves have been trending for a while, and that’s not about to change anytime soon.
“Let’s face it, beach waves are not going anywhere,” Taylor says. “Everyone loves this technique. This disheveled look paired with lived-in hair color looks good from the very first day, then gets better and better even days after!”
To achieve effortless beach waves, Taylor uses a few products from L'Oréal Professionnel’s Tecni.Art range. He starts by applying Densité, a thickening primer, through strands before blow-drying.
“Using an iron, I like to alternate waving the hair forward and backward while maintaining the iron in a vertical position throughout the process,” Taylor says. “I always leave about an inch to an inch-and-a-half off the end of the hair out so that I have a wave, not a curl.”
As a final step, break up the waves with your fingers and add a high-shine finish with a dry finishing spray and Lumi-Contrôle, a shine-enhancing wax.
We’re huge fans of long wavy hair in ponytails, and this braided style is an elevated take on the classic ‘do. To begin, spray L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Super Dust texture powder throughout your hair for additional grip and texture. Divide hair into three sections, starting at the crown. Make sure the middle section is larger than the other two. Next, braid the side sections in a classic three-way plait beginning at the roots and secure with bobby pins to make a crown braid behind your head.
Take the larger horseshoe section in the middle just above the crown and secure with an elastic. Braid the larger section in a large three-way braid and secure at the end with an elastic. Loosen the braid for a trendy, messy look!
