Earlier this summer, Redken invited hair stylists from all over the country to enter their Next Big Thing contest in hopes of winning a killer grand prize. To participate in the competition, each stylist had to create three different hairstyles depicting Redken’s three challenge theme’s which were: transformative hair, machinist, and icons. To be considered, each participant had to follow @Redken on Instagram, upload a photo or video of each themed style to Instagram, tag @Redken, and use the hashtag #RedkenNBT.
The six Redken artists with the highest overall scores had the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Los Angeles filled with fun activities and the opportunity to style the finalists of the NYX Face Awards. After weeks of combing through countless entries, Redken has finally announced the six winners!
