Space Buns
Space buns are always ready to party, and why not add some apt festival vibes with a little sparkle?
“A big thing is adding sparkle into gel, just brushing that directly onto the scalp,” Duplantis says. “Mixing and matching different colors and quantities results in a highly personalized touch, so show off your originality!”
Retro Style
Go for an iconic look by tying a bandana around your hair, pin-up style! It’s an incredibly versatile accessory and looks especially charming when paired with a trendy fringe. Plus, there’s nothing stopping you from growing a colorful collection. Aim to have a bandana for every summer occasion!
Pull-Through Braid
Here’s a playful twist on the sectioned ponytail: Separate the hair in each ponytail to create an opening, then pull the next section of hair through the center in order to add this hair onto the new section. Continue looping, securing loosely as you go, then finish off the braid at any desired length.
To give the ponytail more height and volume, Duplantis relies on Redken’s Guts 10 spray foam.
“Add that into your hair, then use your blow dryer with a paddle brush to set that product,” she says. Your braid will instantly have more bounce thanks to this professional styling tip!
