How To Style Festival Braided Space Buns
To begin, part your hair down the middle and grab a 2-inch section of hair about an inch from your hairline on the right side of your part.
Working with the hair from the section, begin to craft a standard French braid. Once the braid reaches the crown of your head, secure it with a small elastic.
Grab another 2-inch section of hair about an inch from your hairline on the left side of your part.
Repeat the same steps on the left side of your head, crafting a standard French braid and securing the braid at the crown of your head with a small elastic.
Once both braids are secure, pancake them for a voluminous effect.
Working with one braid at a time, take the loose hair hanging from the elastic and spray it with Redken’s Triple Dry 15 Dry Texture Finishing Spray—an editor favorite.
Twist the segment to form a loose bun and secure the knot to your head with two bobby pins. Repeat the same steps on the opposite side of your head.
After you secure both buns, pancake them so that they appear larger and set your style with Redken’s Triple Take 32 Extreme High Hold Hairspray.
