I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a bit of a product junkie. Why Use Mizani True Textures Perfect Coil Oil Gel
I have chin length, curly red hair with curl types five through eight throughout my mane. Because of the various curl types throughout my hair, I have many different hair concerns. My most pressing concern is moisture, I need products that will make my hair look and feel moisturized. Like most curly girls I also deal with a significant amount of frizz, so I look for products that will help my hair remain frizz free. Lastly, I also have a hard time creating curl definition in certain sections of my hair, leaving my hair looking like a puffball instead of ringlets.

I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first. I’m a much bigger fan of cream styling products. Gels have a tendency to be a bit drying for my strands and leave my curls looking like crunchy instant noodles. However, the Perfect Coil Oil Gel is formulated with coconut, olive, and marula oils, to help define and shape your curls until your next wash day while helping to keep them moisturized. Now with one product, my hair looks and feel moisturized, frizz-free, and even my most stubborn curls are defined.
How To Use Mizani True Textures Perfect Coil Oil Gel
To prep my strands for the True Textures Perfect Coil Oil Gel, I wash and condition my hair with Mizani’s Moisture Fusion Moisture Rich Shampoo and Moisture Fusion Intense Moisturizing Mask.
After I get out of the shower, I apply the True Textures Perfect Coil Oil Gel throughout my soaking wet hair and scrunch my strands to help define my curls. Then, I allow my curls to air dry about 60 percent and finish drying my hair with a diffuser to create volume all over. Once my hair is completely dry, I put a few pumps of Mizani’s 25 Miracle Nourishing Hair Oil in my palms and warm it up in my hands before fluffing my hair into my desired shape and style.
