On May 6, 2019, celebrities gathered in New York City for the year’s most extravagant night in fashion and thanks to the “camp” theme, the event was bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever before. Some of our favorite A-list celebs walked the pink carpet wearing avant garde headpieces, princess ball gowns, and dresses with trains that covered almost the entire carpet (literally!). However, a few standout celebs opted for an ultra-girly take on the theme—our favorites being Hailey Bieber and Lili Reinhart.
Draped in a floor length, baby pink gown and a perfectly wrapped scrunchie high ponytail, Bieber’s ensemble gave us serious retro Barbie vibes. However, it was her cream blonde hair color, created by Redken brand ambassador and blonde color master Ryan Pearl, that put the finishing touches on doll-like ‘do.
Hailey loves changing up the tone of her blonde throughout the year, but currently it’s a beachy blonde. She can pretty much rock any shade of blonde with her skin tone, so it gives us a lot of options and makes it easy to color...We did a highlight to break up her root a bit, but also kept some of her natural base peeking through to complement her golden tan and pink dress.
